Conférence IDCC 2015

10th International Digital Curation Conference

“Ten years back, ten years forward: achievements, lessons and the future for digital curation”

9 - 12 February 2015

30 Euston Square, London

Overview

The conference & workshops are now fully booked so there will be no “walk-in” registrations at the event

For a decade IDCC has brought together leaders and experts in digital curation and the significance of good curation to research and innovation is now well recognised across the globe.

At IDCC15 we aim to assess our progress and to help identify and stimulate debate on the critical digital curation questions for the future.

The 10th International Digital Curation Conference will be held from Monday 9 February to Thursday 12 February 2015 at 30 Euston Square, London.

30 Euston Square is a building located at the corner of Euston Road and Melton Street, London NW1. Originally built as the headquarters of an assurance company, it has since been converted to form the headquarters of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RGCP).

The main conference will take place over the first two days followed by two further days of workshops and other satellite events.

The Pre-Conference Drinks Reception will be held on the evening of Sunday 8 February in the Medicine Now Gallery at the Wellcome Collection. ' Medicine Now' takes an intriguing look at modern scientific issues around the world, as seen through the eyes of artists, scientists and patients.

The Conference Dinner will take place on the evening of Monday 9 February in the Terrace Restaurant of the British Library, with pre-dinner drinks being served in view of the famous Kings Library. The tall glass King's Library Tower houses books collected by King George III (reigned 1760-1820). It is considered one of the most significant collections of the Enlightenment, containing books printed mainly in Britain, Europe and North America from the mid 15th to the early 19th centuries. It consists of 65,000 volumes of printed books, with 19,000 pamphlets.
